Deposits and refunds
Refunded in full
The discount group closes below its minimum
Every deposit is returned in full, automatically, the day it closes.
No acceptable bid comes in
Same: the discount group fails, and every deposit is returned in full.
You decline the final number
After the home visit the seller gives you a final price. If it is more than you want to pay, you walk away and the full deposit comes back.
You leave before the discount group closes
You can leave a discount group any time before its deadline. The deposit is returned in full.
The seller cannot deliver
If the winning seller withdraws, misses the agreed window, or loses their licence or insurance, your deposit is returned in full.
When a deposit is not returned
You confirmed a final price and then cancelled
Once you accept the final number in writing you have a contract with the seller. The deposit is applied to the order and cancellation is governed by that contract, including the seller's cancellation terms and your legal right to cancel within three business days where it applies.
Repeated no-shows for the home visit
If you miss the agreed visit twice without telling anyone, we may release you from the discount group and keep the deposit to cover the seller's wasted trips. We warn you before this happens.
How long it takes
We send the refund the same day the discount group closes or you decline. Card issuers usually show it within five to ten business days. It returns to the card you paid with; we cannot send it anywhere else.
Sellers
Our success fee is taken at payout on the closed order value, and a holdback is released after the work is signed off. If an order is cancelled before delivery, no fee is due. Promotion spend is paid up front and is not refundable once a placement has run.
